Interestingly enough, I did not notice, nor did anyone else I know.

No, correct that, my niece who works for A Government Agency had the
day off, was well-provisioned for the blow, and started early. Have
not heard from the boy, he probably spent the day studying anyway.

Oh yeah, Article one section 8 of the constitution sez:
The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties,
Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common
Defence .....
That means things like defending the borders, and protecting embassy
personnel. Who was it that swore to uphold the constitution?
Hmmmmm Maybe we should fire the lot..
