You did pull the bolt all the way out, right? The cable will not come out
with the bolt in place.

Spent the last 4 hours trying to remove the speedo cable where it stabs
into the tranny off take. The cross wise hold down bolt is loose all the
way. Car was up on pule up ramps and my big foot style body had trouble
fitting in the work area.
Problem was the speed o cable would rotate about 180 degrees but would not
pull out of tranny take off. Granted I did not have alot of room to really
tug on it and was working left handed.
Anyone have this problem? Seems about 60K miles ago when I did this job
the old speed o cable came out prety easy. Can these thing sease in the
tranny off take?
Please anyones war stories for help.
