hi Clay!

thanks, but i'm pretty particular about how i reset the Trip Meter, and never reset a Trip Meter while moving. i wouldn't expect both the main Odo and Trip Meter to stick together even if i had. oddly enough they both started working again before i could even get stopped, but i don't expect they're going to get better by themselves in the long run.

cheers!

Could be imminent failure or you did not get it set back fully when you poked
the button and it is stuck midway. Do not reset the trip odo while in motion.
Punch the button a few times when fully stopped and it should behave again.

hi all!

i noticed last week that the odometer and trip meter seemed to 'stick' for
a few miles, while the speedo seemed to behave normally. is this the typical
symptom of the gears slipping on their shaft, or something else?

any tips on how to narrow it down to what needs attention, or any
instructions on how i might approach addressing this myself?

cheers!
