Try replacing the oil pressure sensor first. They are electronic and do go bad. I thought my '87 wagon had abnormally low pressure at hot idle, and so replaced the sensor and then it read 1.5 bar or higher. -- Max Dillon Charleston, SC '95 E300, '87 300TD, '73 Balboa 20
