I'm a little late on this thread - sorry -- IMO, my son has the best
system for listening to music - a usb port on the SONY stereo in his car
-- he bought a 4gb thumb drive which I loaded roughly 50 or more CDs
onto and there's still space left.

I have one on the S500 with the iPod cable. Works like a champ. I am very
pleased with it, as it lets me keep the Becker and gives me iPod integration.
Not terribly expensive, either.
