New college admissions statistics reveal that it's easier to get into an Ivy League college than to land a job at Walmart or Google. The eight Ivy schools accepted just 8.9 percent of applicants last year. But a Washington, D.C., Walmart hired just 2.6 percent of 23,000 job seekers when it opened in 2013. Google, meanwhile, hires just 0.5 percent of applicants.
