I put a set of stock 16" S Class wheels from a 2003 model on my
1985 300D. You can find a set of 4 complete with tires on Ebay for
3-400 dollars depending upon the condition of the tires. My
fitment required a set of adapters which I also found on Ebay. The
seller's name was something like "Ernie's". Everybody that sees it
comments on how good it looks. Some have even asked if it was a
new car! It was the best $600.00 I spent in a while.
