Sure, you can drive all sorts of stuff in the winter with the right tires.

I've spent quite a bit of time behind the wheels of rear wheel drive V12 S
classes with great success:

My '88 911 was a tank in the snow, as was a 997 Carrera 4 was had when I
was with Harman/Becker.

Its all about tires.
