Well it was the throttle position sensor causing the high idle. The switch on the euro motor has a 2 prong flat plug, the car end has a 3 prong round. The wires for the engine side are brown and green, the wires for the car side are brown, green, and blue. I cut off the connector from the switch on the engine, cut the round connector off the switch that was on the old 380 motor, spliced the 2 brown and green wires together, spliced another wire to the remaining blue wire from the car side and ran it to a ground. Now it idles like it should. Drives just fine as well. Not sure if this is how its supposed to be on the US car or its just rigged, but it seems to work.
