At idle, most diesel engines produce very little heat. With the engine forced to turn and pump cold air through it, what little heat the burning fuel made is carried out the tail pipe. So - no heat being generated means no heat for the cooling system to carry away - so no problem! _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com All posts are the result of individual contributors and as such, those individuals are responsible for the content of the post.
