Well, I think we need to wait a bit.
My Mercedes is 39 years old.
Let us see how the Prius is at that age.
My experience with the Toyotas that I have owned has not been great.
2 of them rusted away and the 3rd one committed suicide before I managed to fix all of the other known faults.

ROFL!!! Pity the poor Prius! All it does is get 50 mpg and rarely needs
repairs. The Koreans just came out with a cheaper pure electric that goes 95
miles between charges and has a 110v outlet so you can use it during power
outages.
Local Prius dealer says he can't keep all colors in stock and some have to be
backordered. Reminds me of the Beetles, those well hated "German" cars, during
the '50s and '60s.
You guys might as well get used to hyrid cars and pure electrics since all the
manufacturers are making them; even Mercedes. Toyota was just the first with a
good one.
I don't love any car; I just like them when they do what they are supposed to
do.

BTW, I just had a local retiree offer me $5000 for my (R.I.P.) wifes pristine
'83 240D that she dearly loved. I turned him down. Its too much like a member
of the family.
