Pretty much the same problem as the OM606 and newer car engines. long weak glow plugs that break off in the head.

If you get one out, better coat it with never seez.

Neverseez is good for all GP threads, even the serial plugs, but especially all aluminum/steel connections.

The sprinter folks have a problem with glow plugs getting stuck in the heads Š maybe aluminum heads?

So i think the rule is if you can get a glow plug OUT replace it.

I read a sprinter list and there seems to be no end of complicated problems with those vehicles.
