ED, Curley, et al. 95, ME! Geez. I have disks and licences for all windblows from windows 1.1 on up, except ME (Huurk!). I was able to get the laptop to go into win10 safe mode with F8, just the once, and chose don't load drivers, thus allowing Bios update. Still won't get past Starting windows. New MB may be in the future, or BFH. Thanks for your good suggestions and support, it is far superior to HP's. Fred the Halfwit.
