Nope. The DAS system incorporates the operation of a bunch of different modules 
in the car, including the engine, transmission and security, if I recall. There 
are three or four involved with this, so if one craps out ou have to buy a new 
one and have the $tealer install and code it, or go to the knackers and get all 
of the modules out of one car so they're matched.
