Get a welder and some metal working tools instead of a truck, build your own hitch.
In the UK they are called a "tow bar", search on that and I'll bet you can find some pix or diagrams to inspire the mechanical engineer in you. Welder / tools / training will be less expensive than a truck by a long shot, and more fun! I purchased a "ganci di traino" aka euro trailer hitch in Italia for my '87 wagon which has over 362k miles on it now, no problems towing lighter loads. Do get heed the advice about a braked trailer and a controller. Your choice as to which car, I think the diesel would be my choice. ------------- Max Charleston SC On Mon, Oct 31, 2016 at 12:25 PM, Bob Rentfro via Mercedes < [email protected]> wrote: > Good info. > > Maybe I have to get a truck after all. > > Bob R > _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
