She really wants a blue W123 wagon, which I'm all for except for winter use. The salt and snow is one thing, but we also have those mornings that hover around 0F, when starting will be a challenge. Dealing with a block heater or other starting aids while getting two kids out the door for school isn't going to fly.
Second on the list is an old G wagon, which I'm also ok with. A 280GE isn't the best in terms of fuel economy, but would be an excellent family vehicle.
