You mean changing the test leads can change the readings?

For most measurements - not really.

For these almost-zero resistance measurements - it can.  Not
"will", but "can".

The meter is measuring the resistance between the meter terminals. So the leads are included in the measurement.

Remember what I said about every foot of wire adding a tiny bit of
resistance?  So a pair of 3 ft leads will have a bit more
resistance than a pair of 2 ft leads.  20 AWG wire will have a
tiny bit more resistance than 16 AWG leads.
