OK, apologize in advance for the stupid questions, but where do you lubricate on the hinges? Is there a zerk or just a tight spot? Here's the link to the gun you're talking about: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=93486 How would I use it...what kind of grease do you use...I am sure MB has some super duper black forest special grease that is recommended, is there a downside to not using it if it doesn't fit in this gun (like using just any old grease rather than MB gleitungspaste will REALLY screw up your auto sunroof?) I just bought a can of spray white lithium grease for this kind of stuff, is this better? How so? Happy to buy one if I know what the heck to do with it! Thanks, Chris

For my 126s I've usually used one from Lincoln, which I bought about 12 years ago for 12 bucks. Now, I see that Harbor Freight has a 50% price reduction on theirs, in the new mail-order catalog - (800) 423-2567. The Central Pneumatic item 93486-1UFB is offered for $3.49. It's a 3 oz. "Mini", with the same looking snout that my Lincoln has. If I were in the market for a replacement, I wouldn't hesitate to gamble on this one. How about a hand pump sucking a LOT of air? I neglected to mention that I tried to check chain stretch, but I'm not sure I did it right. I got a figure greater than 20 degrees. The hand pump, when unscrewed, leaks a lot. -- Jim
