I had a smallish tree fall on my truck, where I had parked it to get
away from the trees... Got the chainsaw out and dealt with that, truck
seems OK.
Rain and wind were pretty strong (not hurricane, but blowing and gusty)
but now none of either.
Tidal surge has caused a LOT of flooding, I have water from the marsh
way up higher than I have seen it before, was right at the edge of my
garage but not in it when I last checked. I understand the roads to
Kiawah and Seabrook are flooded over, and friends over there report
quite high water from the tidal surge (which has not been THAT bad).
All in all not too bad here, considering, relatively.

Speaking of trees, of which I have "way" too many, one fell on the roof of
my house so I may be the only one on the list which has reportable
hurricane damage. As soon as the drizzle lets up, I'll take some pictures
and send them to the group.
If you have to have a tree fall on your house, this is the way to do it.
It landed on its branches on the garage section of the house roof and there
doesn't appear to be any damage to the roof unless some rafters might have
been broken. It's now resting on the branches which are resting on the
garage roof. The trunk is about 8-10" in diameter.
