How about we fire the whole bunch, make it so none of them can hold office
or be elected again, and start with a whole new bunch of citizens. Give
them each a copy of the state or federal constitution and the order they
had to stay within it's limits or be fired on the spot?

Just as a starting point... absolute term limits of two terms, for a life
limit. ie, serve, go back to work. Voters retain the absolute right to
terminate any elected official.
