The R&R of the struts took 2.5 hours with essentially no  instructions. No torx 
bolts, no heating required. Could easily do it in  an hour second time around. 
Had help from my mechanically inclined  friend charlie (240D & 240D).
  
  NOW, NONE of the door locks work via vacuum. I imagine we cracked a  vacuum 
line while pulling the struts out...any ideas on where exactly  to look for 
that line?
