Always seemed odd to me that probably our most intelligent president [IQ
-wise] was the nuclear physicist with a photographic memory, Jimmy Carter,
who did a decent job overseas but seemed to have little understanding of
real-world USA. I have always liked him, though we couldn't live with the
fiscal policies and social ideals he had. Regan I never liked, but he ended
up doing a lot of good for the us. Don't get me started on W, who might
actually have learned something after 6 years of his hair going white. Some
combination of Carter, Regan, and Clinton [without a zipper in his pants]
might be ideal - but not a possibility. Question seems to be how to deal
politically with personal and corporate greed - My $.02 [to borrow a
phrase].
