Peter,

The fuel heater is actually mounted on the head. Not sure if that’s what you’re 
referring to. Weird setup, nothing like the heaters on other diesel models that 
I’ve seen.

The lift pump is on the driver’s side of the pump, and has two lines going to 
it from the filter assembly. The fittings on the lines all use some weird 
connectors with horseshoe shaped clips to hold them in place.
