My 1975 Civic, and a lot of 2nd Gen Civics and 1st Gen Accords, was almost totally silent. The 1975 had tiny exhaust, maybe 1.5", and flowed plenty for 60hp. I was moving in that direction when looking at Summit for Walker mufflers, was thinking of putting one on my generator. Craig went to even more effort there and posted it last night IIRC.
