Alles. Thanks for the replies. I have my own ancient tyre machine and the goop (rubber cement) that seals rims. My problem is that the sealant works but ( IMO) that the air is escaping via the very thin layer of corrosion under the paint. Corrosion and paint and layers of rubber sealant have been removed from the tire sealing area, so was wondering what paint to put on the raw aluminum alloy? Wurth's ? or ? Or just leave it bare? TIA.
