I often listen to the old timey radio station on satellite radio, the other 
day they played "Air Force" which was a pretty good program and included a bit 
where a group of planes have to land in Hawaii soon after the attack. They did 
a good job conveying the paranoia the folks there would have had not knowing if 
another attack was coming.

He calls me back, it's about 7:45 local time. He's onboard USCGC Kimball, one 
of our new National Security Class cutters. So I ask him if he's seen any 
Japanese aircraft. He says "No, why?...." until he realized what day it was.
