No it is not a tire iron. Those are used to change tires. This is
the lug wrench.

Yes, it is just a regular Mercedes tire iron tool.
But, as Dan said, you need to remove the long through bolt. First take
the nut (and washer, I think) off the bolt, then use the tire iron to
take the sideways tension off the bolt, remove the bolt, and then relax
the tension on the spring. Then you can take the serpentine belt off the
alternator pulley.
