Looking at this site:
 http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/kinematic-viscosity-d_397.html shows that
palm has a somewhat higher viscosity than soy oil, at 130 degF.

In CentiStokes:
Palm 26.4
Soy 19.64
Peanut 23.4
Coconut 15
Rape Seed 31

Subject: [MBZ] Palm Oil as a Fuel for Agricultural Diesel Engines:
Comparative Testing against Diesel Oil

Hello All,

I read this study and the one conclusion that really jumped out was:

"...Wear in the engines fueled by refined palm oil and diesel oil is not
significantly different but wear in the compression rings of the engine
fueled by refined palm oil is significantly higher..."

see:
http://journeytoforever.org/biodiesel_SVO-palm.html

Makes me not want to use VO or WVO or anything like that. It looked to be a
pretty thorough well done study.

I guess the next question is perhaps you would get different results from
different natural oils ?

Enjoy !
