Personally, I have no use for Facebook; I would like to see them go broke..
But my church started using Facebook to livestream Sunday services during COVID so I needed an account. Facebook refused to create my account until I used my cell number for a username. Never could get it to work using a typical alphanumeric username. If I had the upload bandwidth I would host these myself (we typically have at least 20 folks watching live).
