Interesting that you mention those, Mitch, as I have a co-worker that owned a 
Sky hardtop coupe, very rare. I’ve looked at these before, and as Grant 
suggested with the R170s, I can’t comfortably fit in one.

And they are not about to hit bottom, in fact, their values are still quite 
good - I look at them on occasion for fun. They have a very strong following 
from what I can see.

The R129 isn’t that easy for someone over 6’ to fit in. There’s plenty of 
headroom, but the gyrations of getting in and out are difficult, just ask me 
about it. I really detest the wife’s car for just that reason - it’s a real 
PITA for me to get in and out of, and that’s even with the door swung fully 
open. When I was having problems with my left leg it was excruciatingly painful 
to get in and out of the thing.

I may have a “bargain” SLK 320 on the radar I’m going to look at next week. 
Could end up being a beater, but it’s not far away and it has some nice things 
that increase the value that the seller is not aware of. We’ll see.
