I think my 6year old Yota has this “feature” embedded. To use the infotainment system a person needs to register a telephonic device to the system to enable the thing. That means giving your identifying data to Yota of course for the app to link you up. Otherwise you have limited mapping and access to OTA radio and not the full spectrum of geegaws and distractions on the screen. At least the thing does not drive itself.
