People, in general, are known to rend the bearers of news they don't want to hear limb from limb, so to speak. We are continuing to get exactly the government we have paid for, and deserve. God help us.
Currently I lay the blame on the infotainment industry, and the ill-considered positive feedback policies of media outlets, social and otherwise.
