Actually, a lot of your Mercedes was not manufactured by Mercedes. Here are the manufacturers of a few major components: ---------------------------- Brake system - ATE or Bendix Cooling system - Behr Fuel system - Bosch Radio - Becker Climate Control - Behr
These are just a few major systems that I can think of and every one of these manufactures have facilities around the world. In other words, a lot of your Mercedes parts were made in places other than Germany and many were made in Asia! Oh, and your OEM wheel bearings were made in Japan.
