First symptom this morning with the 300D 2.5 is a slow shutdown, maybe 10 seconds. I'm suspicious of the shutdown valve. Where is it? Can I test with MityVac? What do they cost?

You need to characterize the vibration for us. Circumstances, frequency, etc. Once you've felt/heard them all, it's fairly easy to tell wheel and axle problems from driveline problems, largely because the frequency is some 3x for the driveline due to the differential's gear ratio. Also, does swerving or turning affect it? -- Jim _______________________________________ http://www.striplin.net For new parts see official list sponsor: http://www.buymbparts.com/ For used parts email [EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://striplin.net/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_striplin.net
