Maybe just reflecting the overall rise in used car prices then. Don't ask me how dealers think. It's like rental real estate. Judging from what I see on the commercial markets here, landlords seem to prefer keeping a high asking rent on vacant properties than they do cutting the rent and getting a paying tenant.
