I assume the bullet hit a major artery.

There were some comments FWIW in another post about this incident that referred
to a Glock, 32? maybe ( I know nothing about Glocks), that apparently was prone
to firing when not intended due to no safety and being ready to fire, getting
knocked or something. There might have been a report about the Glock and a
spent casing in the car, and of course the bullet and the damaged groinal area.

I carried a Glock 19 daily for many years, and this is the first I'm
hearing of a self-firing one. The only "failure" I'm aware of is the

it was easy to control.

If a trigger catches on any weapon it may fire. Even a pocket pistol
requires a holster to be safe.

Semi-automatic.

The bangers around here seem to favor 9mm or .45cal semi-automatic
pistols, or whatever stolen firearms they can buy off the skreets.
Commenters speculated this fine citizen had a Glock, which are prone to
spontaneous discharge.

In any case the gene 🧬 pool was cleansed though no indication that he
was a doting father
