I first called about replacing my Kidde (pronounced as German, kid-uh) extinguishers on 04 Nov 2017. When I called I was surprised that the extinguisher from my Kenworth was also one of those recalled! I checked after the telephone call and found it has metal handles ... When I called back the next day, the fellow with whom I spoke said the extinguisher from the KW was not involved. He did, however, re-submit one of the extinguishers I had reported the previous day. Anyway, I got new extinguishers.
