I haven't had to pay $3 yet for diesel, all summer it was hovering around $2.97
while gas was $3.09 or more. Now gas is coming down, generally about $3.03 and
diesel is rising I paid $2.99 Sunday but most places are over $3.

No way that reflects prices around here right now. $3.13 to $3.20 or
more
for Dissel. GasoBENZine was $2.95 yesterday, but dropped to $2.85 to
$2.81 today I haven't seen Dissel under 3 bucks for several weeks now

I was just the other day thinking a Quantum is just what I need for my wife to
drive. What kind of mileage are you seeing from that?
Actually, assuming the mileage on a Quantum is more like a diesel Rabbit or
Jetta I should be driving it and my wife should drive the 190D.

Well thats crazy, the 2.2l in mine flies once it gets going. I've had it up to
like 90mph and it might have had more.

Soybean oil at CostCo is running about $2.80 per gallon right now, so
that's what I'll be burning until cold weather sets in.
I did just pick up a water heater and a couple of filter cartridges
over the weekend, so I can start putting together my biodiesel
processor. Time's a-wastin....
