Forget the electronics. Use the IP from a 603. 603, 606, and even 302 Windsor have found their way into W201 engine bays, but serious fabrication was involved. I believe the 302 Ford doesn't weigh any more than the 602 that MBZ put in the W201. I saw a fairly cheap (circa $2500) 202 advertised last month, I think it had drivetrain problems. Mitch.
