Thanks - Desert Rat wrote:<<Idle control maintains same RPM >>
I reviewed 30-1010 (sec 1. deals with my 602-962 engine - W124) and it's all
mechanical. But there's an electrical connection on the plastic cam next to
the accl linkage (I had to disconnect it when I removed the intake manifold)
even though all adjustments appear to be mechanical. I guess it's possible
to control the idle purely by mechanical means but I have been searching for
an electrical thingie - but it looks like there is none. I would have
thought turning the ACC on would activate some kind of electrical thing that
maintains the idle speed at a constant rpm. But I don't see one.
Not looking forward to it, but i think I need to go through the accel
control adjustment instructions step-by-step.
Thanks again for the help --

Idle with A/C on would drop. Idle control maintains same RPM so it's
working if you don't notice it!

My 123 never did it and my 124 doesn't.
