After struggling with the idle speed dropping during braking, I realized I had disconnected my EGR a while back to see if I could get the improved MPGs and faster times. Today I decided to check and see what the result would be if I re-attached it.

A quick test drive before my wife left for work this morning makes it appear the idle speed drop problem has been solved. While I liked the small advatnage having the EGR disconnected gave, I much prefer the smooth action of the idle like it is now. Oh well, we tried it and we prefer it this way.

But I'll drive it farther tomorrow to make sure there's an improvement. So far, so good.
