Yes, I believe Vanagons sometimes require that MB rims be machined slightly in order to clear. Also, I wish those rims were 6" or wider, or came in 16" diameters. I think the Fuchs or Empi copies would look sharp on a 123.

VW and Mercedes wheels are "hub-piloted" -- there must be a tight fit between the center hub and the wheel center, because this is what keeps the wheel concentric with the axle.
