OK we know AS is nowhere near a Pubbie, that was some subtle irony, in
no way intended to offend, start flames, send the list off to the ozone
(well, maybe not the ozone, that is too controversial), or whatever. IT
WAS A JOKE!!! Lame maybe, but there you go. I kinda like pinging ALL
my friends and colleagues with stuff that is not mean or personal -- I
get plenty back too! It's all meant as respectful joshing among people
who are confident in their own selves. Caint we all jus git along and
laugh at ourselves and others? Some people are just way way way too
sensitive or self-important or touchy or something. I thought anyone
driving some old diesel or other Benz would have plenty of time to
ponder the subtleties and ironies of life as they motor along at a
stately pace, or stare at the engine bay contemplating the vagaries of
glow plugs or the logic of German engineering. There's even guys here
with Saabs and Volvos and Citroens fger cryin out loud. Some stuff just
aint worth the trouble it will cause to get upset about it.
Besides, I was going to say he was already a Demo, but thought it would
be even less subtle and I might have to explain it to y'all.
