Here in Houston there is this tradition of "art cars" started some years ago by some hippie artist types, through something called "The Orange Show" http://www.orangeshow.org/artcar.html. Anyway there are a bunch of these things around, I see some of them driving sometimes, others are just brought out for the annual parade. There was a 300D parked at a school nearby, a coupla years ago, that had been "arted" up with little mirror tiles and various other items stuck to it. Aside from the sacrilege of doing this to an old Benz, it actually did not look half bad in an artsy sort of way, as it was somewhat restrained but still unique. I have not seen it around for awhile, not sure where it went. Might have been a school project or belonged to some teacher or something.

This guy is a testimonial to the dangers of eccentricities coupled with a "shed."
