So is the SDL simply a top of the line SD?It's an S class diesel long wheelbase (SDL. SEL means S class einspritzer (gasser fuel injected) long wheelbase. Any cars without the L designation (300SD, 300SE, 380SE etc are short wheelbase models. I don't believe that there are such designations clearly badged on Mercedes vehicles anymore.
