If you're looking for simplicity you can't beat the 126. A good reliable steed. One can actually work on it. I had one for 9 years. If you're looking for a road car, the 140 CAN'T be beat. 30 MPG, 800 mile legs, quiet and warm (thermo pane windows) Heavy but agile, peppy (first Diesel that would pin me back in my seat). A B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L car to drive. I spent 18 and 33 hours in the car and at the end of the trips I was not tired (altho' the 33 hour trip was pushing it}. If I could find a better road car today, I would buy it.
