That just reinforces my feelings I felt on the drive home with the $1300 
1983 300SD.  Mama was getting blown around and having trouble keeping her 
little HHR under control, and Dad and I were a few car lengths behind 
thinking "Huh?"  No problems back here other than keeping an eye on the road 
through the windshield in the blinding rain as the wipers struggle to keep 
it clear.  For three car payments, she could have had this level of comfort 
and safety in a classy Mercedes, even with similar MPG!
