I apologize if this has been cussed and discussed, but I've lost the bubble as to the sequence of events (and perhaps a bit of reasoning) behind how these "nets" have transfigured themselves.

I am aware and dismayed about how the original technical (and leader's list) net that had more or less the blessings of MBCA were summarily closed in the "Saturday Night Massacre", and how Kathy Kennel (RIP) did her best to keep some civility in the succeeding mbz nets. But it appears that there are now a plethora of nets, that IMO have reduced the content we used to have - where a lot of technical issues arose daily, and usually 6 or more responses appeared almost within hours.

So what historical events have I missed??
