In my experience, it's almost never the actual workers who cause the
quality problems (it does happen, but it's usually the result of nuts
in the work place or management abuse). The operations of US
manufacturers are exclusively controlled by management personnel, who
should be (but aren't) taking the responsibility for the quality of the
product. If Chrysler decides to have their transmissions built by
unskilled labor in Mexico, don't blame the US worker when they fall
apart!
