I've toyed with the idea of tapping into the guts of the old Alpine that's in the Frankenheap in order to hook the CD (or my wife's iPod) into it. I like the funky old Alpine, it sort of looks like it belongs there, as anything much newer would not, and when you use the cassette the radio antenna does not extend. The cassette also auto-ejects when the key goes off. It's also theft-proof. (Who would want it?)
